Jim Peet

Jim Peet is the Managing Member and Principal of Fairfield Securities LLC. With over 30 years of international investing and fund experience, Jim leads the firm’s capital-raising and private placement efforts, drawing on a deep foundation in project finance, specialty debt solutions, and fractional CFO services. He began his career at Bain & Company and McKinsey & Company, went on to manage telecom investments for a Soros alumnus, and later founded the Lehman Brothers Communications Fund—raising $800 million and navigating the fund through a turbulent tech market. He also co-founded Tangent Capital, a broker-dealer, before expanding into project finance and executive financial advisory. Jim holds a dual degree in Engineering and Math/Economics from Dartmouth and an MBA from Harvard Business School where he was a Baker Scholar (top 5%). He is FINRA-registered (Series 7, 24, 28 and 63) and a licensed CPA.
